Talk Title: Aligning Your Suppliers and Customers for Sustainability Goals

Allison Nepveux brings a unique background in software product strategy, international trade policy, and production agriculture. The 4th generation of Texas cattle ranchers, Allison began her career in commodity trading and later, worked with startups, venture capital, and established fresh-cut processing businesses in the fresh produce industry. Curious about federal and international regulatory challenges, she transitioned to the trade policy space. During her tenure with the US Grains Council, Allison led the United States’ grain industry response to non-tariff barriers to trade, informing the US government’s approach to gene-editing, biotechnology, and crop protection in multilateral trade agreements and actively managing the US grain industry’s response to trade issues with overseas markets. Recognizing a greater need for traceability and transparency, she joined the team at Bushel, where she led software product strategy in sustainability and traceability for the Series C startup. Today, she leads Bayer CropScience’s Carbon Business Development, combining her expertise in policy, digital tools, and agriculture to accelerate farmers’ ability to restore agricultural ecosystems and to generate new revenue streams from these activities. She is a graduate of Texas A&M University and holds a Certificate in Corporate Sustainability from NYU.
