Anne MacMillan is Invariant's Chief Strategy Officer and one of Washington's leading food and agriculture policy strategists, with more than 25 years of experience spanning the federal government, Congress, and the private sector. She has built and led one of the most recognized food and agriculture public affairs pracGces, advising clients across the full range of policy, regulatory, and reputaGonal challenges facing the industry.

Before joining Invariant, Anne served as Deputy Chief of Staff to U.S. Department of Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack, where she was central to the development of major agricultural and nutriGon policy during the Obama AdministraGon, and as Senior Policy Advisor to Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA). In the private sector, she served as Director of Government Affairs for a mulG- billion-dollar farming and consumer packaged goods company based in California.
