Dr. Kingsly Ambrose is a Professor of Agricultural and Biological Engineering at Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana, USA. His research and teaching interests include the characterization, modeling, and design of particles and powders, as well as ensuring safety in material handling. One of his patented technologies involves the use of light extinction to measure the concentration of suspended grain dust particles. He has authored or co-authored over 130 peer-reviewed academic publications and contributed to more than 130 conference presentations. He serves as an editor for processing systems for the ASABE journals and is also a member of the editorial board of Biosystems Engineering journal.
