Stefan Scheiber has a degree in Business Administration from the University of Applied Science in St. Gallen and continued his education at the Institute IMD Lausanne and the Harvard Business School. Stefan Scheiber was appointed CEO of the Bühler Group on July 1, 2016, and became a Member of the Board of Directors on August 28, 2020. He began his career at Bühler in 1986, working in various international management positions worldwide, including East and South Africa, Eastern Europe, and Germany. Stefan Scheiber was appointed a Member of the Executive Board at the age of 39. In 2017 and 2018, he led the acquisition and post-merger integration process of the Haas Group which became part of Bühler on January 1, 2018. He is also a Member of the Board of Directors of the Kistler Group and Bucher Industries AG, and a Member of the Executive Committee of Swissmem and of economiesuisse.
